The AE (Arbeitsgemeinschaft Endoprothetik) – German Society for Endoprosthetics was founded in 1996. Its members include leading orthopedic surgeons and trauma surgeons, as well as scientists who deal with issues of endoprosthetics and alternative joint-preserving treatment methods. It’s a section of the German Society for Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery ( DGOU ).
