Designed to meet unique clinician and patient needs, LiquiBand® XL is a non-invasive product combining a mesh patch and liquid adhesive to securely hold large or high-tension incisions1 closed for up to 14 days.
LiquiBand® XL provides many of the same great benefits of our LiquiBand® family of topical skin adhesives, including a simple application process and fast dry times.
LiquiBand® XL Skin Closure Systems
The LiquiBand® XL adhesive applicator features our signature LiquiBand® wings to make priming safe and easy. The applicator’s broad foam tip allows users to control the flow of adhesive and efficiently cover the mesh. Our easy-to-use, self-adhering mesh includes a clear release liner, providing visibility of the incision while ensuring safe and secure closure.
Protection against microbes
LiquiBand® XL skin closure systems offer many benefits over traditional methods of surgical incision closure. With its effective microbial barrier, LiquiBand® XL can help protect against surgical site infections during the critical early stages of the wound healing process.
Water-Resistant adhesive film

Indications For Use
LiquiBand® XL is intended for topical application only. It is designed to hold closed easily-approximated skin edges of wounds from surgical incisions, including incisions from minimally invasive surgery, and simple, thoroughly-cleansed, trauma-induced lacerations.
LiquiBand® XL should be used in conjunction with, but not in place of, deep dermal stitches. Additionally, the adjunct wound closure device component maintains temporary skin edge alignment along the length of the wound during application of the liquid adhesive.
